FC Barcelona has announced an update on the club’s right back Sergino Dest who picked up an ankle injury against Canada on 5 September.
“It’s a low grade injury, but his availability will only be determined by how it evolves,” according to club medical staffs.
Dest has gotten a little advantage of returning to barca in the Champions league game against Bayern Munich on 14 September after the scheduled Sevilla game was postponed on Saturday due to late returning of the south American players from international duty.
The 20 year old American player made 44 appearances during his first year with Barcelona scoring three goals and one assist and has also featured in all Ronald Koeman’s games this season in the La Liga.
